NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT

Seriously though? Is there a better time than right now? This exact moment.

Keeping that in mind, I am determined to blog and blog the hell out of it starting right now. (I mean I started a few days ago! – You know what I mean)

When I think of the word present, I think of a beautiful yet simple quote.

I think of the wise words of Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda,

“Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
and today is a gift…
that’s why it is called the Present.”

A present is a gift. Literally but it also is the present. That is the present tense.

The dictionary defines present as the period of time occurring right now.

But present, also means being present. Being completely immersed and absolutely alive and involved in your moment.

To me, presently, the word means a gift. The gift that is today. So it is literally a present in the present.

Don’t wait for a special day, wear that dress, open that bottle of wine. Today is the day! The day is today.

Ps. Tick Tock!

  1. Hehe I love the Tiffany Box. But seriously, there is no time like the present and everything can change in this moment. Everything can be new and magical and totally pure. And the best part about this is that our past has no control over it.
